  How do I re-enter  a contest?

  If you have already taken part in an earlier round of Formula FX, you can re-enter the contest in myAlpari in the "Trading Contests" section.

  With Jackpot, Full Throttle and Virtual Reality, you must complete registration each time you sign up for the contest.

  Why am I not in the rankings?

  There are several possible reasons:

  • a) If you can't find your nickname in the final rankings of any of the contests, take a look at the Plus Rating. The Final Rating is calculated for each participant in the Top 25 of the Plus Rating, while all other participants with a positive result remain in the Plus Rating.
  • b) If the Equity reading on your account was less than the reading when your account was added to the "Active Accounts" (see clause 1.11 of the Contest Rules) at the moment the rating was last updated, you will not see your account in the rating.
  • c) Your account will only be visible in the contest rating the day after you register. In accordance with clause 1.11 of the Contest Rules, the account can be placed in the group of "Active Accounts" and accordingly into the rating calculation only after rollover and the check for compliance with the minimum deposit requirement.

  I want to register in "Formula FX", but I keep receiving a message that I am already registered.

  In accordance with the Contest Rules, trading accounts registered in Jackpot and Full Throttle can not participate in Formula FX.

  If your trading account is already registered in one of these contests, you need to open a new account in order to participate in Formula FX.

  I deposited funds to my account an hour ago, but they haven't shown up yet.

  During the daily report on completed transactions (21:00 GMT) the deposit on all accounts registered in the contest is checked for compliance with the minimum deposit requirement. If the Equity is more than or equal to the required minimum deposit, the account is transferred to the list of "Active Accounts" and is included in the rankings. Thus, your account will appear in the rankings no earlier than the next rollover.

  My "Percentage of Profit" is 10%, but it should be 110%. Why?

  Chances are that your account had not yet been added to the contest rankings when you earned part of this profit. You can find out when your account was added to the rankings and how much you had on your account at this time on the Contest Participation and Ratings page of myAlpari.

  Where can I see contest results for previous months/years?

  You can view results of previous months and years in the Result Archive, and even read interviews with contest winners and runners-up in the section Interview with Winners.

  I took first place! How do I receive my prize?

  • a) If you took first place in one of the rounds of Jackpot, you need to send a prize request to contest@alpari.ru. The request is free-form. The overall winner for the year must provide Alpari with all necessary information, which is detailed in clause 4.2.1 of the Contest Rules.
  • b) If you took first place in one of the rounds of Crazy Pips, you need to send a prize request to contest@alpari.ru. The request is free-form.
  • c) If you took first place in one of the rounds of Virtual Reality, you need to open a new live classic.mt4 or micro.mt4 account at Alpari and send an email to contest@alpari.ru, containing:
    • the login and password to your contest account;
    • a scanned copy of your passport/ID (two-page spread with photo and registration).
  • d) If you took first place in one of the rounds of Formula FX, you need to send a prize request to contest@alpari.ru. The request is free-form.

  I have a demo account with your company, but it isn't showing up in the "Virtual Reality" Rating. Why?

  Only demo.contest accounts are included in the "Virtual Reality" contest. Please don't confuse this account type with demo.mt4 accounts, which you can open in the MetaTrader 4 trading terminal.  To open a demo.contest account and compete in "Virtual Reality", you need to register in the registration section on our website.

  I'm competing in Virtual Reality and I have $100,000 on my account, but I can't even buy 10 lots of EURUSD! Why?

  The leverage in Virtual Reality is 1:10. The calculation of margin requirements is detailed in the Forex section of our website.

  Can I take part in several contests at the same time with just one account?

  In each separate contest you need to use an account that isn't being used in another contest.

  A round of the "Full Throttle" contest has come to an end. How can I participate in the next round?

  Due to the fact that in "Full Throttle" you can change accounts from round to round, you will have to register anew for each subsequent round.

  How are the winners determined in "Full Throttle"?

  No, the contest rankings are determined only the Volume Point rating. Volume Point shows the relation between the volume of open positions and the deposit. You can read more about the rating calculations in the contest rules.
