The rankings for the "Jackpot Bonus Round" are determined by a rating based on each contestant's "Profit Percentage". The rating is calculated for every contestant with a positive trading result (current liquid balance is greater than initial deposit).

  Terms of Participation

  All you have to do is register for the “Jackpot” contest and you will automatically be entered in the Bonus Round. If you are already signed up for the Jackpot contest, you will automatically be included in the promotion, at absolutely no cost to you.

  How Profit Percentage is Calculated:

  The winner of the Bonus Round will be the trader with the highest rate of return (Profit Percentage) on their account for the week that the promotion runs.

  Profit Percentage is just net equity for the week (minus net deposits) divided by the amount of equity you started with.

  Net equity is simply your final equity minus your initial equity

  Equity = Balance + Floating Profit – Floating Loss

  Floating Profit/Loss is unrealized profit or loss based on open positions. When these positions are closed, floating profits or losses become real gains and losses. Floating profits and losses affect your equity but not your balance.

  Keep in mind that any deposits or withdrawals you make will affect your totals. For example, net deposits lower your balance which lowers your net equity for the week thus lowering your overall “Percentage of Profit.”

  For those who have had their accounts Confirmed (see contest rules clause 1.10 for more on this), their initial equity will be considered to be what they have on the first day of the promotion at 00:00 EET (MetaTrader time). For those just signing up, their initial equity will be what they have the moment their account passes Confirmation.

  Prizes

  Cash prizes will go to the top five finishers with specific amounts determined by place of finish.

  The prizes will be distributed to the trading accounts of the winners. Prize funds will be credited to each winner's account within 10 days of the end of the promotion.
