"Investor's Compass"
We decided to lengthen the 3rd round of “Investor’s Compass” to 11 weeks, giving contestants more room to work out their investment strategies. The number of contestants grew as well. In the last round of “Investor’s Compass,” more than 2,300 investors competed for the grand prize of 1,000 USD. When it was all said and done, Mingazov Nuriddin came out on top; with more than a 350% return on investment. Nuriddin spoke with us, telling us why he prefers investing to trading and which Managers earned him the most profit in the contest. You can read about all of this and more in the full interview.

"Jackpot"
During 2010, Alpari launched a series of new contests for its clients and thousands of traders from across the world chose to take part. However, even with all of the new contests being added here at Alpari, “Jackpot” has remained the most popular. It’s not hard to see why. Contestants competed by investing virtual money into real PAMM Accounts. Although the investment was virtual, the prizes were real. Just ask Dmitriy Muratov, winner of the contest. Round 22 of "Formula FX"
With 1,600 USD in cash prizes on the line, Irina Yurevna Arkhipova ran away with victory in Round 22 of the “Formula FX” contest with an astounding 10,494.3945 percentage of profit. Her winning figure was actually even down from a mid-round high of over 14,000%! Irina's calmness under fire and professionalism certainly played a big role in her success. What else can we learn? Gold Rush Contest

20th Round of Formula FX
The 20th round of Formula FX witnessed a doubling of the number of winning places and an increase of the prize fund to 2,000 USD. The competition was stiff but Sergey Ivanovich of Ukraine nevertheless prevailed with the highest percentage of profit-more than 925%- making him the well deserved winner. Angelica Germanova from Tolyati placed second in the 2009 overall rating and in accordance with our rules, shouldn't have received a prize, but we decided to make an exception and award a successful female trader! 3rd Place - 5,000 USD
Alexander Ivanovich from Rostov-on-Don is also an exception from the regular rules, as he was in third place in the 2009 overall results. But we decided, as with second place, to surprise our client with an award: a PAMM-account with 5,000 USD as the Manager's Capital! Since the gap between the 2nd and 3rd placewinners was barely noticeable, we were very happy to interview the bronze medalist of the 2009 Traders' Contest!
