All or none
An order to broker to execute the order completely only at a definite price.
American Depository Receipts (ADR)
A freely negotiable receipt for foreign shares, issued by US depository bank. ADR is a form of foreign shares trading in the USA since the year 1927. ADR is registered by Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), gives the same right as shares (except participating in company governance), is quoted in USD in exchange and OTC market.
American Stock Exchange (AMEX)
One of the biggest US stock exchanges (with the third highest volume of trading). The AMEX is located in New York City.
Arbitrage
The simultaneous purchase and sale of an asset in order to profit from a difference in the price for one and the same commodity without risk. This usually takes place on different exchanges or marketplaces.
Ask (offer)
The lowest price an investor will accept to sell a stock.
Average
Successive buying/selling of shares of one emitent, as their rate decreases/increases keeping the average price shares were bought/sold at.
