Alpari Internal Transfers

  • 3. In this type of transfer, funds are transferred between two Alpari accounts (both trading and non-trading). If the accounts involved in the transfer are denominated in different currencies, Alpari will be required to convert the transfer amount into the currency of the recipient account.
  • 4. Before completing your request, a confirmation code will be sent to your registered mobile phone and email address. You will need to enter this code in the form before submitting your request.
  • 5. In myAlpari, go to "Transaction History." If you see the status "Processing," your request has been accepted. Once you see the status "Funds sent," check to make sure the funds have been transferred to your other account.

Attention: Please be careful when filling out the request. After the transfer has been completed, you will be unable to return the funds to the sending account.

Commission: None. Any required currency conversions will be made based on Alpari's internal conversion rates, which are updated daily and published in myAlpari.

Processing Time: The money should be transferred to your other account within a few hours of submitting the request. If for some reason there is a delay, it may take as much as one business day from the time the request is submitted.

Important:

  • If funds were deposited to a client's account with a credit/debit card, the client will only be able to make future deposits and withdrawals in myAlpari.
  • If a deposit was made to an Alpari account using a credit/debit card (through a processing center) or using the Moneybookers system, and money is transferred from this account to another Alpari account, the other account will be treated as an account to which a deposit was made by credit/debit card. This means that a client will only be able to make a withdrawal from this account via bank wire transfer to an account opened in the name of the cardholder or, if the deposit was made using the Moneybookers system, to the Moneybookers electronic purse used to make the deposit to the first account.
  • Transfers can only be made between accounts denominated in USD or EUR.
  • Alpari will not make transfers to third party accounts (see clause 7.4.2 of the Regulations for Non-Trading Operations).

Restriction on Minimum Withdrawal Amount

If you wish to change the withdrawal restriction settings on your account or to learn more about how to change these settings, please see the Restrictions on Minimum Withdrawal page in myAlpari.

If you attempt to make a withdrawal for less than the minimum amount, your request will not be accepted (see clause 6.6 in the Regulations on Non-Trading Operations).

If the balance on your account is lower than the minimum withdrawal level, the only way you will be able to make a withdrawal is to withdraw all of your funds at once. Before you can do this, you must close all open positions on your trading account.

For Example:

Let's say your trading account has a balance of 80 USD. There are no open positions on your account.

If you submit a request to withdraw 70 USD, the request will not be accepted (see clause 6.6 of the Regulations on Non-Trading Operations).

The only way to make a fund withdrawal is to submit a request for the entire 80 USD remaining on your account.

Restriction on Third Party Withdrawal

In the interests of protecting its clients' security, Alpari gives them the option to restrict withdrawal from their accounts to the accounts of third parties.

To set up this restriction:

  • 1. Log in to myAlpari, go to the "Trading Accounts" section and click the "Set Restrictions" icon.
  • 2. Choose the account where you would like to place a restriction.
  • 3. Enter the code shown in the picture.
  • 4. Read and agree to the "Terms of Withdrawal Restriction". By agreeing, you will only be able to make withdrawals from your selected account to:
    • A bank account opened your name (the same name as the trading account to which you wish to add the restriction).
    • Another Alpari trading account, registered in your name (the same name as the trading account to which you wish to add the restriction). A third-party withdrawal restriction will also be placed on the other account if there isn't one already. If a different type of restriction has already been placed on the other account (e.g. if a deposit was made to the other account by credit/debit card), it will not be affected.
  • 5. Click "Set Notification."

After following the instructions above, there will be a restriction on third party withdrawal on your account, meaning you will only be able to make withdrawals to your own accounts. This restriction has no time limit. It can not be canceled.

Example:

A client has two trading accounts at Alpari:

  • Trading Account А: with a third party withdrawal restriction
  • Trading Account B: no third party withdrawal restriction

If funds are withdrawn from Trading Account B to Trading Account A, the fund withdrawal restriction set on account А will remain.

If funds are withdrawn from Trading Account A to Trading Account B, a third party withdrawal restriction will be placed on Trading Account В. In the future, withdrawals from this account will only be able to be transferred to a bank account opened in the name of the account holder.
