The Introducing Broker Partnership Program is designed for the individual and doesn't require any sort of initial investment. You don't have to be well-versed in the markets or have any experience trading Forex to succeed in our IB program. All you need to do is introduce traders to Alpari and begin developing a network of clients.

Here is how the IB Representative program works:

  • First, you will need to register as a partner of Alpari. When you team up with Alpari, you will have the comfort of knowing that you are working with one of the leaders in online trading; a company with a sterling reputation, earned over more than a decade of successful work with the financial markets.
  • Next, start telling potential clients about Alpari. Tell them about the cutting-edge trading technology and top-of-the-line customer support available at Alpari. When your clients make the choice to trade with us, you will be compensated for your efforts.

As soon as we confirm you as an Introducing Broker of Alpari and activate your Partner Account, you can start creating new streams of income by developing a client network. When one of your referred clients opens an account and begins trading with Alpari, you will be compensated for each completed transaction (opening or closing a position) they make, for as long as they trade with us. The amount of compensation an IB Partner receives depends on the type of account their client opens with us (see our Partner Remuneration Table).

Take a look at our Partner Remuneration table to learn how IB Partners are compensated.

3 Ways to Register a Client

    • 1. Give your client your Partner ID. They will need to enter this ID in the corresponding field during myAlpari registration.
    • 2. Send your client a link already containing the Partner ID (Introducing Brokers can find these "Referral Links" in myAlpari after registration). When the client registers in myAlpari after opening this link, the Partner ID will be entered automatically in the corresponding field.
    • 3. Encourage your client to visit the Alpari site through one of your Partner banners which already contains the Partner ID. You can find these banners in myAlpari. When your client opens an account after clicking on this link, the Partner ID will be entered in the corresponding field automatically.

When your client visits the Alpari site through your Partner banner or Referral Link, your Partner ID number will be stored in their web browser's "cookies" file for a year, assuming they don't clean their computer's cache memory during this time. If a client comes to the site more than once through links of different Introducing Brokers, only the last link will be counted.

After your referred client has registered with Alpari, your Partner Remuneration (bonuses) will automatically be credited to your Partner Account with each transaction completed by the client.

Note: Introducing Brokers can not refer themselves as clients, nor can they refer relatives or other affiliated parties.

How an Introducing Broker's Compensation is Calculated

The amount of Remuneration (in the form of IB Bonuses) received by Introducing Brokers is shown in the table below. For more detailed information about IB Remuneration, please refer to Section 6 of the Introducing Broker Regulations.

    Account Type Partner Bonus
classic.mt4 25% of the spread of each completed transaction
micro.mt4 25% of the spread of each completed transaction
classic.systematic 25% of the spread of each completed transaction
classic.zulutrade 15% of the spread of each completed transaction
pamm.mt4 25% of the spread of each completed transaction
classic.ndd.mt4 32% of the commission taken from the client
classic.ndd.zulutrade 20% of the commission taken from the client
pro.ecn.mt4 30% of the commission taken from the client

Alpari does not credit bonuses for the positions of referred clients on classic.mt4, micro.mt4 and classic.systematic accounts in the following cases:

    • The position is closed less than five minutes after it is opened.
    • The position is closed with a profit or loss less than 1 spread.

Alpari does not credit bonuses for the positions of referred clients on pamm.mt4 accounts in the following cases:

    • The position is closed less then 10 minutes after it is opened.
    • The position is closed with a profit or loss less than 1 spread.

    Bonuses on classic.mt4, micro.mt4, classic.systematic, pamm.mt4, and classic.zulutrade Client Accounts

Introducing Broker bonuses are 25% of the spread of each completed transaction.

    Spread 25% Introducing Broker's Bonus

Introducing Broker bonuses depend on the transaction volume and the trading frequency of referred clients.

    Introducing Broker Smith

His Goal: Refer clients to Alpari and receive bonuses for doing so.

    Client 1: Ford

    Makes 5 transactions a month
Volume of Each Trade: 1 lot

    Client 3: Johnson

    Makes 30 transactions a month
Volume of Each Trade: 15 lots

    Client 2: Jackson

    Makes 40 transactions a month
Volume of Each Trade: 5 lots

Let's see how an IB's bonus depends on the trading volume of their clients:

    EUR/USD 1 lot Spread Value:
    18 USD
    EUR/USD 5 lots Spread Value:
    90 USD
    EUR/USD 15 lots Spread Value:
    270 USD
    202.50 USD
    67.50 USD
    67.50 USD
    22.50 USD
    13.50 USD
    4.50 USD

Now we'll look at how IB bonuses are dependent on the trading frequency of their referred clients:

    1 lot
    х 5 trades
    a month
    5 lots
    х 40 trades
    a month
    15 lots
    х 30 trades
    a month
    • 4.50 х 5 = 22.50 USD
    • 22.50 x 40 = 900 USD
    • 67.50 x 30 = 2,025 USD

In this example, Introducing Broker Smith will receive a total bonus of 2,947.50 USD.

    22.50 USD
    900 USD
    2,025 USD
Client 1 (Ford) trades infrequently with small volumes, generating the smallest bonus.
Client 2 (Jackson) generates a larger bonus, trading more frequently and at higher volumes.
Client 3 (Johnson), trading the highest volumes, generates the largest bonus for IB Smith.

The higher the referred client's trading volume and the more frequently they make trades, the more Remuneration the Introducing Broker will receive in the form of bonuses.

After an Introducing Broker has registered and their Partner Account has been activated, bonuses from the trading of referred clients will automatically be credited to the Partner Account after every transaction made by the client.

Note: Introducing Brokers can not refer themselves as clients, nor can they refer relatives or other affiliated parties.

IBs earn 15% of the unwidened spread for client trading on classic.zulutrade accounts.

    Client 3: Johnson

    Makes 50 trades a month
Volume of Each Trade: 17 lots

Now, we'll look at how the IB's compensation depends on the trading volume of their clients:

    Ford:
Volume of Each Trade: 1 lot
Client Commission for a Complete Trade: $6
    Jackson:
Volume of Each Trade: 15 lots
Client Commission for a Complete Trade: $90
    Johnson:

Client Commission for a Complete Trade: $102

    32.64 USD
    61.2 USD
    28.8 USD
    4.08 USD
    1.92 USD

    Bonus from Ford
    $6 х 32% = $1.92

    Bonus from Jackson
    $90 x 32% = $28.80

    Bonus from Johnson
    $102 x 32% = $32.64

Now we'll take a look at how the IB's bonuses depend on the trading frequency of their referred clients.

    1 lot
    х 5 trades
    a month
    15 lots
    х 40 trades
    a month
    17 lots

    • $1.92 x 5 = $9.60
    • $28.80 x 40 = $1,152
    • $32.64 x 50 = $1,632

In this example, the Introducing Broker will earn 2,793.60 USD in bonuses.

Introducing Brokers earn 30% of the commission taken from their referred clients from each completed transaction made on a pro.ecn.mt4 account.

IB Bonuses on Client pro.ecn Accounts 30% Introducing Broker's Bonus

To find out how much an IB will earn in compensation from a referred client, we must first take a look at how our ECN clients pay commission:

    $20
    over 1 billion
    $25
    up to 1 billion
    $30
    up to 500 million

Now, let's say an IB refers a client whose trading volume for a month is 1,670,000,000 USD.*

As you can see in the diagram above, for the first 500 million USD in trading volume, the commission taken from a client is 30 USD for every million USD.

In our example, the commission taken from the Client for the first 500 million USD in trading volume is:
    (500,000,000 / 1,000,000) х 30 = 15,000 USD

For the trading volume between 500 million and 1 billion USD, the commission taken from a client is 25 USD for every million USD. The comission is doubled for completed transactions.

In our example, the commission taken from the Client for the trading volume from 500 million to 1 billion USD is:
    (500,000,000 / 1,000,000) х 25 = 12,500 USD

For the trading volume exceeding 1 billion USD, the commission taken from a client is 20 USD for every million USD.

In our example, the commission taken from the Client for the trading volume exceeding 1 billion USD is:
    (670,000,000 : 1,000,000) х 20 = 13,400 USD

The IB's total in bonuses from client trading for the month will be:
    (15,000 + 12,500 + 13,400) х 30% = 12,270 USD

    * Since both the opening and closing of a position count towards your trading volume, the commission for round-turn trades (opening and closing a position) is effectively doubled.

    Sub-IB System

The Sub-IB System allows the IB to bring in other Introducing Brokers (Sub-IBs), each of whom will have the opportunity to develop a partnership network of their own. Depending on the total trading volume of the clients of every Sub-IB during the recording month, the IB's Remuneration from the trades of their clients increases in the month following the recording month as demonstrated in the table below:

Trading Volume of Sub-IBs (in lots). Classic, Micro (% of spread) ECN (% of commission) NDD (% of commission)
    0-100 25 30 32
    100-200 26 31
    200-300 27 32 33
    300-400 28 33
    400-500 29 34 34
    500-600 30 35
    600-700 31 36 35
    700-800 32 37
    800-900 33 38 36
    900-1000 34 39
    1000+ 35 40 37

In addition to their own client network, the Introducing Broker can also develop their own Sub-IB network:

When registering for myAlpari, a client must enter their Sub-IB ID to ensure that they will be automatically included in the Introducing Broker's Sub-IB group.

    IB
    Sub-IB
    Sub-IB

Now, we'll take a look at how an Introducing Broker's bonus is affected by the trading volume of their Sub-IB partnership network.

    IB
    Sub-IB
    Sub-IB
    Sub-IB

Let's say, for example, an Introducing Broker has 3 Sub-IBs whose clients traded at different volumes during a given month.

    Introducing Broker Smith

Goal: Create a network of Sub-IBs to increase the amount of compensation he receives for client referral

    Sub-IB 1:

    Introducing Broker Ford
Total Trading Volume of All Clients: 200 lots

    Sub-IB 3:

    Introducing Broker Jackson
Total Trading Volume of All Clients: 300 lots

    Sub-IB 2:

    Introducing Broker Johnson
Total Trading Volume of All Clients: 500 lots

Thus, the total trading volume of Smith's clients for the reporting month is 1,000 lots. In the following month Introducing Broker Smith's Partner Account will be credited Remuneration from the trading of his clients. The amount he receives is based on the account types of his referred clients:

    • For classic.mt4, micro.mt4, classic.systematic and pamm.mt4 accounts: 35% of the spread
    • For classic.ndd.mt4 accounts: 37% of the Client's commission
    • For pro.ecn.mt4 accounts: 40% of the Client's commission

The bonus will be paid out to the IB during the month following the reporting month, regardless of the trading volume of his Sub-IBs.

  • Read 8

    How to Withdraw the Bonus

If the IB's group contained three or more active clients (a client with a cumulative trading volume of at least one lot) for the recording period and if no client had more than a 70 % share of the total bonus amount of the IB's group, then the IB's accrued bonuses will be automatically transferred from their Partner Account to their Transitory Account. This will take place on the first day of the following month.

If even one of these conditions is not met, then no money will be credited to the IB's Transitory Account. The bonus will remain on the Partner Account until all of the withdrawal conditions have been met. When these conditions have all been met, accrued bonuses for the previous recording period are paid in their entirety (100%), bonuses for the recording period before last are paid out at 80% of the accrued total, bonuses for the recording period before the one before last are paid at 50% of the accrued total, and no bonuses (0%) are paid for earlier recording periods.

For Example: If an IB did not fulfill the requirements necessary to withdraw funds during the months of February, March, April and May but did so in June, then they will receive 100% of the accrued bonuses for June, 100% for May, 80% for April, 50% for March and nothing (0%) for February.

PAMM Account Partnership Programs

PAMM Account Partnership Programs encourage mutually beneficial cooperation between partners and managers of PAMM Accounts. Are you an analyst? Risk manager? Advertising specialist? Can you offer any of your unique services to a Manager? Now you can team up with a PAMM Account Manager and automatically receive part of the share of the spread for your work.

PAMM Account Partnership Programs allow the Manager to set up a partnership with any Alpari client. These programs also include a flexible and convenient reward system for partners, which allows both Managers and Partners to control their Remuneration payments.

You can find general examples of work on PAMM Account partnership programs below.

Acquisition Partner

Let's look at an example of how the Acquisition Partner's Remuneration is calculated:

Manager Smith has opened a PAMM Account at Alpari. He is making a steady profit trading on this account but he does not have any time to find and bring in investors.

Smith decides to cooperate with Johnson, who has agreed to bring in investors for Smith's PAMM Account. Johnson will receive 10% of the Manager's share generated by each investor he brings in. Thus, Johnson becomes the Manager's Acquisition Partner.

The Manager's Partner (Johnson) brings in 2 investors to the PAMM Account (Simpson and Ford). As per the Manager Proposal, the investors are entitled to pay the Manager 20% of their profit.

  • At the start of work on the account, the Manager's (Smith's) Capital was 20,000 USD.
  • Investor 1 (Simpson) invested 50,000 USD.
  • Investor 2 (Ford) invested 30,000 USD.
  • Thus, the PAMM Account balance is 100,000 USD.

1.png

Due to the Manager's successful performance, the PAMM Account makes a 50% profit (50,000 USD) on the intitial deposit (100,000 USD) in one quarter and the PAMM Account balance becomes 150,000 USD.

Respectively,

  • Investor 1 (Simpson) makes a 50% profit (25,000 USD) on his original investment (50,000 USD), and pays the Manager Remuneration in the amount of 20% (5,000 USD) of his profit.
  • Investor 2 (Ford) makes a 50% profit (15,000 USD) on his original investment (30,000 USD) and pays the Manager Remuneration in the amount of 20% (3,000) of his profit.
  • The Manager's earnings come out to be 8,000 USD, thus, the Manager (Smith) pays 10% (800 USD) to his Partner (Johnson) as his share of the profit.

2.png

Auxiliary Partner

Let's look at an example of how the Auxiliary Partner's Remuneration is calculated.

Manager Smith has opened a PAMM Account at Alpari. Smith is working in a group with risk manager, Brown. The Manager is making a steady profit trading on the PAMM Account, but is cooperating with Mr. Brown under the condition that Mr. Brown receives 10% of any and all Remuneration the Manager receives. Thus, Mr. Brown is the Manager's Auxiliary Partner.

The investors, Simpson (Investor 1) and Ford (Investor 2), have decided to invest on Mr. Smith's PAMM Account. As per the Manager Proposal, the investors are entitled to pay the Manager 20% of their profits.

  • At the start of work on the account, the Manager's Capital was 20,000 USD;

  • Investor 2 (Ford) makes a 50% profit (15,000 USD) on his original investment (30,000 USD), and pays the Manager 20% (3,000 USD) of his profit.
  • The Manager's earnings come out to be 8,000 USD, so the Manager (Smith) then pays 10% (800 USD) to his Partner (Brown) as his share of the profit.

Partner Cooperation

Let's take a look at how the Partner Remuneration is divided between Acquisition Partners and Auxiliary Partners:

A PAMM Account is opened by Smith. Smith is soon joined by Partners Jones, Williams, and Davis:

  • Smith: PAMM Account Manager
  • Jones: Acquisition Partner
  • Williams: Advertising specialist
  • Davis: Risk Manager

The Manager chooses to distribute Partner Remuneration as follows:

  • Jones (Acquisition Partner): 10% (from the Manager's Remuneration)
  • Williams (Acquisition Partner/Auxiliary Partner): 10%/20%
  • Davis (Auxiliary Partner): 10%.

Acquisition Partner Jones refers 2 investors to the PAMM Account (Investor 1 – Miller and Investor 2 – Wilson). Partner Williams brings in one investor (Investor 3 – Moore). Investor Taylor (Investor 4) joins the PAMM Account independently.

At the start of the Trading Interval, the Manager's Capital is 5,000 USD. Investor 1 (Miller) invests 50,000 USD, Investor 2 (Wilson) invests 30,000 USD, Investor 3 (Moore) invests 10,000 USD and Investor 4 (Taylor) invests 20,000 USD. The balance of the PAMM Account at the beginning of the Trading Interval is therefore 115,000 USD.

1.png

Due to the Manager's (Smith's) successful performance, the PAMM Account achieves a 50% return (57,500 USD) on investment (115,000 USD) in the quarter and the balance of the PAMM Account rises to 172,500 USD.

Each of the 4 investors in the PAMM Account makes a 50% profit on their original investment.

  • Investor 1 (Miller) earns 25,000 USD on his original investment of 50,000 USD.
  • Investor 2 (Wilson) earns 15,000 USD on his original investment of 30,000 USD.
  • Investor 3 (Moore) earns 5,000 USD on his original investment of 10,000 USD.
  • Investor 4 (Taylor) earns 10,000 USD on his original investment of 20,000 USD.

2.png

Remuneration on the PAMM Account is paid out in 3 stages:

1. Acquisition Partner Remuneration
2. Auxiliary Partner Remuneration
3. Manager Remuneration

Investor 1's Payment to the Manager

Investor 1 (Miller) owes the Manager 5,000 USD in Remuneration. Acquisition Partners are paid first. Partner Jones receives 500 USD in Remuneration (10% of 5,000). Next, Auxiliary Partners are paid their share. Auxiliary Partner Williams receives 900 USD (20% of the remaining 4,500) and Auxiliary Partner Davis receives 450 USD (10% of 4,500). After the Partners are paid Remuneration, the Manager keeps the remaing profit (3150 USD).

Auxiliary Partners are then paid their share of the profits. Auxiliary Partner Williams gets 540 USD (20% of the remaining 2,700) and Auxiliary Partner Davis gets 270 USD (10% of 2,700). After the Partners are paid Remuneration, the Manager keeps the remaing profit (1890 USD).

Auxiliary Partner Williams gets 180 USD (20% of the remaining 900) and Auxiliary Partner Davis gets 90 USD (10% of 900). After the Partners are paid Remuneration, the Manager keeps the remaing profit (630 USD).

Investor 4's Payment to the Manager

Since Investor 4 (Taylor) was not referred to the PAMM Account by an Acquisition Partner, the only people entitled to part of Taylor's share of the profits are the Manager and the Auxiliary Partners. Investor 4 owes the Manager 2,000 USD. Auxiliary Partner Williams gets 400 USD (20% of 2,000) and Auxiliary Partner Davis gets 200 USD (10% of 2,000). After the Partners are paid Remuneration, the Manager keeps the remaing profit (1,400 USD).
