Open a Swap-Free/Islamic Account

Alpari offers its clients Swap-Free accounts, designed with our Islamic clients in mind, but available to anyone, regardless of their religious beliefs.

Three types of Swap-Free accounts are currently available: micro.mt4.swapfree, classic.mt4.swapfree and classic.systematic.swapfree.

In order to comply with Shariah Law, Alpari does not charge interest on these accounts for open positions held overnight. Instead of being charged an overnight storage (swap) fee, clients with Swap-Free accounts are charged a fixed overnight handling charge. The charge ranges from 5 USD to 20 USD per lot. To find out the commission charged for any particular instrument, go to our Contract Specifications page, select the instrument and find "Commission on Swap-Free Accounts" (clients are charged triple commission for positions held over the weekend).

There is no limit on how long a position can be held.

Alpari reserves the right to terminate a Swap-Free account without prior notice.
